Design Sprint

From a problem to a validated solution within a week. This process provides an efficient way to test and validate ideas quickly, saving you months of work and uncertainty.

Jeff and Jos engaged in a design sprint

A validated prototype in 4 days

The method is designed to quickly solve complex problems. In four days, we develop a prototype that is tested by real users. This approach enables teams to quickly develop new products or solve complex problems, and is a highly effective process for quickly reaching a tested design concept.

Validated by end users

The prototype is tested by real users, providing immediate and valuable feedback.

Fast and efficient

Within four days, we develop a usable and tested design concept, saving time and resources.

Risk reduction

By testing early with users, potential problems and incorrect assumptions are quickly identified and addressed.

Stakeholder engagement

Through active participation of stakeholders in the sprint team and organizing expert interviews, we ensure broad support and valuable input.

What is a Design Sprint?

A Design Sprint is an intensive, structured method based on the principles of Design Thinking and Agile, designed to solve complex problems quickly. Within four days, we develop a prototype that is tested by real users.

This approach, originally designed by Google Ventures, enables teams to quickly develop new products or improve existing services. The process is effective and efficient because it allows teams to arrive at a validated and tested design concept in a short period of time.

Through a series of collaborative workshops and testing sessions, a Design Sprint provides a quick way to validate ideas and provide direction for further development.

Program

Day 1: Map & Sketch

Together with the team and experts, we explore the issue and identify the sprint goal. Then we devise and sketch possible solutions. We start the day with expert interviews to consult crucial stakeholders with specific knowledge.

Day 2: Decide & Storyboard

The optimal solution is selected and used as the basis for creating a storyboard, which acts as a blueprint for the prototype to be developed.

Day 3: Prototype

The prototype is developed with the involvement of the full sprint team, while simultaneously preparing the interviews for the next day.

Day 4: Test

On the last day of the sprint, end users test the created prototype to verify that it meets the intended user experience and objectives. The feedback is collected and used to further improve the prototype. We are looking for four to five end users willing to participate in the test for an hour.

What does the Design Sprint deliver?

The Design Sprint delivers a validated solution direction for a specific problem statement, insight into the end users' key goals and user journey, and a tested, clickable prototype.

You also receive a clear answer to the challenge as formulated in the sprint goal and documentation of the initial research results. In addition, we formulate a long-term goal with key performance indicators (KPIs) for focus within the organization and a roadmap for further development. The result also includes the design files of the prototype and a clear product strategy and vision.
