From idea to prototype in 2 days
The Mini Design Sprint delivers a clear solution direction for a specific problem statement, insight into end users' key goals and user journey, and a high-quality clickable prototype that can be tested with end users.
Fast, efficient and cost-saving
Within two days we develop a usable design concept, saving time and money, while you benefit from a structured and effective approach.
Based on proven methodology
The process is inspired by the proven methods of Design Thinking and Agile, and based on the popular Google Design Sprint method.
Collaborative process
We work closely with your team to ensure that solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Direct applicability
The end result is a clickable prototype that can be tested directly with end users, paving the way for further development and implementation.
What is a Mini Design Sprint?
Whereas a normal Design Sprint takes four or five days and concludes with a user test, the Mini Design Sprint focuses on coming up with a concept on day 1 and designing a prototype on day 2.
In this shortened version, we do not perform a user test, but the delivered prototype allows the customer to do this test themselves. This method is ideal for organizations that want to move quickly and achieve concrete results in a short period of time.
The Mini Design Sprint retains the core principles of the traditional Design Sprint but speeds up the process, saving time and resources.
Program
Day 1: Concept development
In the morning we explore the main goals of your project and research the different stakeholders. We make a map of the key stakeholders and the user journey they travel to the ultimate goal. On this we plot the outcomes from the first step.
In the afternoon we look for best practices, good examples and brainstorm our own ideas. Through a collaborative process, we outline possible solution directions and jointly make choices for the prototype. We conclude the day with a division of tasks and preparations for the next day.
Day 2: Prototype design
On Day 2, we use all the input from Day 1 to design a design concept. This is a collaborative process where we provide the design and the client provides the content and possibly sets up questions for future user testing. Since we only have one day for this, we do not hold feedback rounds and this concept serves as input for a follow-up project.
What does a Mini Design Sprint provide?
The Mini Design Sprint delivers a clear solution direction for a specific problem statement, insight into end users' key goals and user journey, and a high-quality clickable prototype that can be tested with end users.
