Tuk Tuk Factory, the market leader in electric tuk tuk's, is growing fast. To meet their ambitions, they needed a new corporate identity as well as a new website. One that would not only appeal even more to the target group, but one that would also increase findability.
The corporate identity and website of Tuk Tuk Factory no longer matched the new strategy and the online findability could go up. Tuk Tuk Factory asked Unc Inc to come up with a proposal for a new corporate identity and website that would meet the company's strategy, ambitions and growth. We believe in electric driving and are therefore happy to work with companies with a "green touch.
Who is Tuk Tuk Factory?
Tuk Tuk Factory designs, builds and sells electric tuk tuk's; three-wheeled vehicles to transport people, or transport or sell goods. Currently, Tuk Tuk Factory sells five models of vehicles and is in the process of expanding its product line even further.
Electric transportation is booming worldwide. Lightweight electric transportation is the solution for inner-city transportation. Tuk Tuk Factory is the largest maker and distributor of electric tuktuks in the world. Currently, their "fun and friendly" vehicles drive around in more than 30 countries.
Creating personas and a corporate identity
When starting such a process, we first sit down together. During several sessions we determined the personas; who is the target audience and what and how are they looking for. With this information we then started to create the wireframes for the website, which were then converted into a design.
A clear division into markets was made. In fact, Tuk Tuk Factory targets different markets, each with their own products. If you, as a customer, want to sell coffee at festivals, you will quickly end up on the page 'community & delivery' where the right products and information are shown.
New corporate identity
Since the old corporate identity no longer matched the brand, we designed a new one that would make Tuk Tuk Factory appear stronger, more stable, more powerful and increase their reliability. One of the things we developed is the new logo emblem. This can be placed on the cars. The shield on the logo exudes reliability. In addition, it incorporates the two T's and the F of Tuk Tuk Factory and indicates movement.
Development and findability
To increase the findability of the website, we considered search engine optimization during development. By applying the right structure to the website, the findability becomes indexable for search engines. Think of correct content use, internal and external links, title tags and code structure. As a result, the website scores higher for related search terms.
A simple search function can be used to analyze how and what website visitors search for. Using this data, the content can be improved and the SEO score increased.
A third component that contributes to findability is the news page. By placing related articles on the website, linked to keywords that the target audience would use, the findability via Google, among others, can be increased.
Printwork
A new corporate identity and logo also requires new print work. We redesigned several leaflets and other marketing materials based on this new corporate identity. Including the Empex brochure for investors. We also made a good translation into an online version. For the copy of both this print work and the website, we worked together with DeBlits.
What's next?
Optimizing website is an ongoing process. The results are analyzed and with these findings you continue to maintain the website and make minor improvements.
Furthermore, after the corporate identity and website, we will also start optimizing other components, including the web shop. More on this later.
